This was our fourth trip to HLP and Shari and Scott
did not let us down!! The weather was great; the food awesome; the
sunsets spectacular and overall our 4th trip was every bit as magical
as our first. We enjoyed the company of the other guests as well
as Paloma, Pistolo, Kitty-Kitty, Bandit, crocodiles, whales, dolphins,
coatamundis and an extremely rare species of blue coconut! I have
already booked a return trip in 2006 and am already looking forward
to it. Thanks Shari and Scott for your warmth. See you in 2006!!

Shari and Scott are true forces of nature! They
coddle you, entertain you and see to your every imaginable need.
The accommodations are comfortable, the service indulgent, the food
delicious…not to mention gorgeous weather, expansive beach
and delightful pool. Hotel Las Palmas is the best B&B in Mexico.

This is the closest we’ll ever come to paradise
- incredible views, relaxing pool, well appointed rooms, fabulous
food and a wonderful staff. Shari is a kind and gracious innkeeper
who took great care of us during our weeklong stay. We all agree
we’ve never had a more relaxing or more rejuvenating vacation.
P.S. The food at Hotel Las Palmas is delicious - we’ll be
dieting the rest of the winter!!

Wow! What a way to begin a new year. Hotel Las

Our stay was like a dream - the layout and view
are breathtaking; the rooms are all incredible; the staff could

This is truly a slice of heaven! The natural beauty
and man made beauty have blended to create a wonderful place. Actually,
you guys, Shari and Scott, have done that. Scott’s botanical
tour was great and this place shows the labor of love! Shari, you
are so cool! You made us feel welcome and right at home the minute
we stepped inside paradise. It was great getting to know both of

rest of the domestic animals and geckos add to that sense of man

What a perfect ending to our honeymoon! We loved
the beach at Zihua, but for a romantic getaway, Las Palmas and Playa
Blanca cannot be rivaled. The service was phenomenal. I truly believe
the only thing you couldn’t give us if we asked would have
been a crowd of people (which we definitely didn’t want anyway
J ) We enjoyed walking the beach feeling
almost as if it were our private beach, reading while floating in
the pool, enjoying a refresco with Shari at the bar and sunset dinners
with a priceless view. We loved everything and wouldn’t change
a thing.

Thank you for making our first anniversary so very
special. We've enjoyed ourselves every minute of each day. The food
was "intoxicatingly" great (and so were your special margaritas,
Shari!). We relished each meal and every scoop of guacamole (the best
ever). When a busy day at home gets a "little crazy" I can
close my eyes and hear the waves in front of Hotel Las Palmas crashing
endlessly in their very own synchronized rhythm and I will taste the
café con crema that was delivered to our door each morning.

Our dreams of a perfect get away were not only realized, but even
our best dreams could not have matched what we found at Las Palmas.

Thank you to each of the staff for a life long memory
of Mexico. Neither Dean nor I had ever visited Mexico before and had
some trepidation. From the moment we saw the sign for us at the airport,
we felt the warmth, caring and fun to be had at Hotel Las Palmas.
We are sad to leave but hope to visit you all again. Though we have
often stayed at B&B's in the States and Canada, we've never felt
so much a part of a family as we have here. Thanks to you all for

Sometimes life lays something at your feet, and all
you have to do is be astute enough to recognize the treasure. So it
has been with Hotel Las Palmas. Fortunately we were paying attention.
We can only recommend: take an early morning walk or run, read a book,
talk with the other fortunate guests who made their way here, drink
just one more margarita than you might think you should have, swim
in the pool when the lights are low and the night sky explodes with
stars, scratch Paloma's belly, say "yes" a lot, and feel
gratitude for our hosts who have cared to make a place like this,
who were astute enough to slow down, notice, and say "yes"
themselves.
